D. MRCC Specifications
Requirements:
Power Supply
o Output: 5V DC, 3A USB-PD (Power Delivery) with Type C connector
o A 5V, 3A (15 watt min.) USB-PD power supply may be used in place of the
included power supply. However, some power supplies may exhibit a large
voltage drop. The longer the USB cable the bigger the drop. USB devices in the
host ports may not operate correctly under 4.75V. The MRCC may not operate
correctly under 4.5V DC measured at the USB host ports.
USB Type B PC Port
o Works with most computers or tablets that support USB MIDI class compliant
devices. Tested primarily with Microsoft Windows* 10 PC and Apple iPad. See
our forum for more information.
USB Type A Host Ports
o Support USB 2.0 bus powered (0.5A each) or self-powered USB devices.
o For USB MIDI class compliant devices and USB keyboard (for label entry) only.

MIDI input and sound modules that meet MIDI 1.0 specification standards, including
MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) devices are supported.

o Output: 5.2V, 3A USB-PD (Power Delivery) with Type C connector
All 5-Pin DIN and 1/8” TRS MIDI inputs are isolated with a high-speed opto couplers.
All 5-Pin DIN and 1/8” TRS MIDI outputs are MIDI spec 5 Volts.
Some features of the MRCC can be controlled with external MIDI controllers and/or
sequencers. See Appendix A for the MIDI implementation chart.
Extensive protection circuitry throughout for static discharge, over voltage and over
current control on DC input, and over current control on USB host ports.
