The display

All indications on the control panel
NOTE!
The user has to verify that the display and all indications are working properly. This
function will not generate a fault alarm in case something is faulty.
1 To test the control panel display, use: Menu » 5 Settings » 4 Test display.
2 Verify that the display momentarily shows a test image.
3 Verify that all system indicators and operational keys momentarily lights up.
3.5 Cleaning of Fire Detectors
3.5.1 Prior to Cleaning
The system continuously monitors the smoke detectors and gives an early
indication if their smoke chambers get contaminated. The fire detection system
sends a warning when the detector starts to get contaminated. The detector still
works satisfactorily. However, when the degree of pollution has reached the level
in which the detector does not detect smoke correctly, a fault message is sent from
the detector. The detector must then be replaced immediately.
The need for cleaning other types of detectors is determined by visual inspection.
If a “dirty sensor” warning displays on the control panel, reset the warning after
cleaning. If the reset is not successful, replace the detector.
3.5.2 Smoke Detector
WARNING!
Potential electrostatic charging hazard
1 If the unit requires cleaning, then only clean exterior with a damp cloth to avoid
electrostatic charge build up.
3.5.3 Aspirating Smoke Detector
NOTE!
An aspiration smoke detector can't detect smoke if the airflow gets below the limit
which is needed for the detector to work properly.
1 Clean the pipe system with compressed air.
2 Replace dust filter, if used.
3 If the unit requires cleaning, then only clean exterior with a damp cloth to avoid
electrostatic charge build up.
