Wireless Setup
Thissectionallowsyoutosetupandcongurethewirelesssettingsonyourcamera.Formoreinformation,referto“WirelessSecurity”onpage50.
Enterthenetworkname(SSID)ofthewirelessnetworkyouwanttoconnectto.
YoucanalsoclicktheSite Survey button to choose an available network and ll
in settings automatically.
Select Infrastructure if you are connecting your camera to a wireless router
or access point. Use the Ad-Hoc connection mode only if you are wirelessly
connecting to your PC without the use of a wireless router or access point.
Selectthesameencryptionmethodthatiscurrentlybeingusedbyyourwireless
network. (Wi-Fi devices on your network must share identical encryption
settings.)Youcanselect None, WEP, WPA-PSK, or WPA2-PSK.
If you chose WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, select either TKIP or AES encryption, based
on the encryption method your wireless network uses.
Enterthekey(password)foryourwirelessnetwork.
Click the Save Settings button to save your changes.
