Appendix E - Warranty
Limited Software Warranty:
D-Linkwarrantsthatthesoftwareportionoftheproduct(“Software”)willsubstantiallyconformtoD-Link’sthencurrentfunctionalspecications
fortheSoftware,assetforthintheapplicabledocumentation,fromthedateoforiginalretailpurchaseoftheSoftwareforaperiodofninety(90)
days(“SoftwareWarrantyPeriod”),providedthattheSoftwareisproperlyinstalledonapprovedhardwareandoperatedascontemplatedinits
documentation.D-Linkfurtherwarrantsthat,duringtheSoftwareWarrantyPeriod,themagneticmediaonwhichD-LinkdeliverstheSoftwarewillbe
freeofphysicaldefects.Thecustomer’ssoleandexclusiveremedyandtheentireliabilityofD-LinkanditssuppliersunderthisLimitedWarrantywill
be,atD-Link’soption,toreplacethenon-conformingSoftware(ordefectivemedia)withsoftwarethatsubstantiallyconformstoD-Link’sfunctional
specicationsfortheSoftwareortorefundtheportionoftheactualpurchasepricepaidthatisattributabletotheSoftware.Exceptasotherwise
agreedbyD-Linkinwriting,thereplacementSoftwareisprovidedonlytotheoriginallicensee,andissubjecttothetermsandconditionsofthe
licensegrantedbyD-LinkfortheSoftware.ReplacementSoftwarewillbewarrantedfortheremainderoftheoriginalWarrantyPeriodandissubject
tothesamelimitationsandexclusions.Ifamaterialnon-conformanceisincapableofcorrection,orifD-Linkdeterminesinitssolediscretionthatit
isnotpracticaltoreplacethenon-conformingSoftware,thepricepaidbytheoriginallicenseeforthenon-conformingSoftwarewillberefundedby
D-Link;providedthatthenon-conformingSoftware(andallcopiesthereof)isrstreturnedtoD-Link.ThelicensegrantedrespectinganySoftware
for which a refund is given automatically terminates.
Non-Applicability of Warranty:
TheLimitedWarrantyprovidedhereunderforD-Link’sproductswillnotbeappliedtoanddoesnotcoveranyproductsobtainedthroughaspecial
oruniquepricingagreement,ifsuchagreementprovidesforwarrantytermsdierentfromthosenormallyprovidedwiththeproductorsetforth
herein,nortoanyrefurbishedproductandanyproductpurchasedthroughtheinventoryclearanceorliquidationsaleorothersalesinwhich
D-Link,thesellers,ortheliquidatorsexpresslydisclaimtheirwarrantyobligationpertainingtotheproductandinthatcase,theproductisbeing
sold“As-Is”withoutanywarrantywhatsoeverincluding,withoutlimitation,theLimitedWarrantyasdescribedherein,notwithstandinganything
stated herein to the contrary.
Submitting A Claim (USA):
Thecustomershallreturntheproducttotheoriginalpurchasepointbasedonitsreturnpolicy.Incasethereturnpolicyperiodhasexpiredand
the product is within warranty, the customer shall submit a claim to D-Link as outlined below:
• Thecustomermustsubmit withtheproductas partofthe claim awrittendescription oftheHardwaredefector Software
nonconformanceinsucientdetailtoallowD-Linktoconrmthesame,alongwithproofofpurchaseoftheproduct(suchasa
copyofthedatedpurchaseinvoicefortheproduct)iftheproductisnotregistered.
• ThecustomermustobtainaCaseIDNumberfromD-LinkTechnicalSupportathttps://support.dlink.com,whowillattemptto
assist the customer in resolving any suspected defects with the product. If the product is considered defective, the customer must
obtainaReturnMaterialAuthorization(“RMA”)numberbycompletingtheRMAformandenteringtheassignedCaseIDNumberat
