config snmp engin
eID <snmp_engineID 10-64>
Syntax
This
command is used to configure an identifier for the SNMP
engine on the Switch.
Description
Parameters
<snmp_engineID 10-64> An alphanumeric string that will be used
to identify the SNMP engine on the Switch.
Only Administrator-level users
can issue this command.
Restrictions
Example usage:
To give the SNMP agent on the Switch the name “0035636666”:
DES-3200-28:4#config snmp engineID 0035636666
Command: config snmp engineID 0035636666
Success.
DES-3200-28:4#
