Step 5 Dealing with situations where the result exceeds the dangerous concentration level.
Where the installation of a facility results in a concentration in excess of the dangerous concentration level
then it may be necessary to revise the system design to some extent or else take one of the following
courses of action.
Action 1: Making openings which will allow the air to flow freely into the room.
Make openings above and below the door which are each equivalent in size to 0.15% or more
of the floor area or make a doorless opening.
Action 2: Fit a mechanical ventilator linked to a gas leak detection alarm device.
