The limit for the protective earth test depends on the safety standard and type of limits (default, or
user-defined) as selected on the MANUAL MODE menu. A value higher than the displayed limit
produces a "FAIL" indication and an alarm tone from ES601Plus.
If "MULTIPLE PE TEST" is set to "NO", three buttons will be displayed upon completion of one
measurement according to the figure above. The three buttons will provide these functions:
ESCAPE:
Returns the display to the MANUAL MODE menu. The result is
discarded and not saved to the Clip Record.
REPEAT:
Causes the measurement to be repeated.
CONTINUE:
Moves the resistance measurement and Pass/Fail limit to the Clip Record.
If there is a previous result from this test in the Clip Record, it is
overwritten. The user interface returns to the MANUAL MODE menu.
If "MULTIPLE PE TEST" is set to "YES", four buttons will be displayed upon completion of each
resistance measurement according to Fig u re 27.
