Configuring the OpenCom 100 Configuration
Finishing the
Configuration
1. When you have completed all
the settings in the Configurator,
you must save the configuration.
(Also refer to Saving and Loading
the Configuration on page 35.)
2. Subsequently you select the
command Logout in the upper
menu bar.
Preconfiguration
The configuration of the OpenCom
100 can be prepared at your DeTeWe
Service Centre or by an authorised
DeTeWe dealer. An OpenCom 100
that is installed at this location is
then programmed with the cus-
tomer data (e.g. user data, call distri-
bution schemes, cord-bound termi-
nals). This data is stored and then
loaded into the OpenCom 100 at the
customer’s site by the service techni-
cian.
This prepared configuration must be
completed at the customers site
(LAN configuration and DECT termi-
nals).
For the configuration of the Open-
Com 100 Internet functions, the cus-
tomer’s LAN prerequisites must first
be established in detail from the
Network Administrator responsible.
Remote Configuration
The OpenCom 100 configuration can
also be edited or updated by a Serv-
ice Centre or authorised dealer via
remote access. The prerequisite for
this is that the internal RAS access in
the OpenCom 100 has been acti-
vated for the Service Centre/author-
ised dealer. The Service Centre/the
authorised dealer can then log into
the OpenCom 100 as Administrator.
User name: Administrator
Password: Administrator pass-
word
Use the following code digit proce-
dure on a standard terminal or a sys-
tem telephone to activate the inter-
nal RAS access for the Service
Centre/the authorised dealer:
Remote configuration on
H * 1 9 *
Z (System PIN) #
Remote configuration off
H#19#
The activation is cancelled again
automatically after 30 minutes.
Attention! The system PIN is pre-
set to “0000” and it is absolutely im-
perative that Administrator changes
it in order to prevent undesirable re-
mote maintenance.
