Symptom Probable Cause Suggested Remedy
Machine does not stop Braking Resistors Check resistor values ( ohms) by model.Check
at end of cycle wiring at VFD and at resistor. Measure resistor with
wires disconnected.
Variable Frequency Drive Check and note VFD for display at VFD rear. Follow
troubleshooting instructions in other section.
Common Troubleshooting Solutions

Water leakage Door Adjustment Door may need adjustment due to abuse or wear.
around loading Check tightness around perimeter using a dollar
door bill. Adjust left to right tightness by shims at door
lock or hinge side. It is important to center gasket
to tub opening before tightening door to hinge
bolts. Chalk may be used on tub front to show
point of contact with tub. If gasket is deformed,
worn, or damaged, replace.
Excessive vibration Mounting System Check all areas below:
• Strength of mounting structure, concrete or
base. ( any cracks)
• Was recommended thickness of concrete
used?
• Does concrete fl oor meet all factory
recommendations?
• Mounting bolts may be loose and need
tightening.
• Check if grouting used and in place if used.
Drive Belt Worn drive belt can cause vibration and noise.
Loading NOTE: SMALL LOADS CONTRIBUTE TO OUT
OF BALANCE LOADING AND INCREASE VIBRATION.
Frame Bolts Check that all bolts inside frame structure are
tightened to proper torques.
