[Span Calibration Execution screen], and [Dissolved Oxygen Measurement screen] after
completion of the span calibration
⑦ Check span calibration completion
…… Ensure that the has changed
to lighting, is lighting, and the [Dissolved Oxygen Measurement screen] has
replaced.
• The main indications are saturated dissolved oxygen in mg/L at different temperatures. The
, when it is lighting, shows that span calibration has been executed.
Now the span calibration in the air is completed. Go back to “5.2 Measurement Procedure”,
continue necessary operations.
(3) Dissolved Oxygen Span Calibration in Water Vapor Saturated Air
(a) This is a span calibration utilizing water vapor saturated air in order to measure high
concentration accurately. It uses a small amount of pure water (or tap water). Preparation of a
standard solution is not necessary.
(b) If only this span calibration (one-point calibration) is performed, calibration operation equations
are produced with this span calibration data and the zero calibration data of the initial values
(default).
(c) For two-point calibration…… >> “6.5 (6) Two-Point Calibration of Dissolved Oxygen”
① Pure water into calibration beaker …… Pour pure water (or tap water) into the
beaker up to a level 1 cm below the line L on the calibration beaker.
Pour pure water up to a level 1 cm
below the line L on the calibration beaker.
