Model WQC-30 9.6 Replacement of the dissolved oxygen electrode (optional)

(2) Replacement of the dissolved oxygen electrode
Replace the dissolved oxygen electrode if the performance level is not restored even after replacing the
electrolyte and the diaphragm or polishing the electrode. (Model: ELD-045)
Removing used electrode …… Loosen the electrode fixing nut of the used dissolved
oxygen electrode by pressing firmly the special spanner and turning it counterclockwise (looking
from the bottom).

Removing used dissolved oxygen electrode
Pulling out used dissolved oxygen electrode …… After the electrode fixing
nut is loosened enough, pull out the used dissolved oxygen electrode.
Installing new electrode …… Follow the procedure below referring to “4.4
Installation of the dissolved oxygen electrode (optional)”.
Remove the label” in 4.4.
Confirm the secure attachment of the diaphragm”
Pour in the electrolyte”
Attach the electrode outer cylinder”
Apply silicon grease to the O-ring”
Insert the dissolved oxygen electrode”
Tightening the electrode fixing nut”
Attaching the protective cylinder”
IMPORTANT
Please ensure that the parts of electrode are mounted firmly. If not, it
may cause water leak or inaccurate measurement.
When performing the measurement, refer to “6.5 Calibration o
f
dissolved oxygen (optional)”.
