Injuries
Waterproofing
●
Be careful when mounting the dissolved oxygen electrode. There
are risk of injury by the four claws on the tip of the diaphragm set, i
you have your hands slip.
●
Do not wash with water or touch with wet hands with the electrode
removed. Also, do not install or store it in places where there is a
risk of ingress by chemicals or water.
Electrostatic
discharge
●
The dissolved oxygen measurement circuit of the sensor module
uses the parts that may be damaged by static electricity resulting in
failure. Static electricity may be discharged from your body by
touching the earth (ground) points on walls when indoors, or by
touching the ground when outdoors using bare hands. Prior to
inserting the dissolved oxygen electrode into the sensor module,
always discharge the static electricity from your body. After insertion
into the sensor module, and during maintenance inspections,
always discharge the static electricity from your body prior to
handling so that the membrane set is not subjected to electrostatic
discharge.

Electrostatic-sensitive parts are also used for electrodes other than
the dissolved oxygen electrode. We strongly recommend
discharging static electricity from your body prior to handling the
terminals of responsive parts and sensor parts for all electrodes
during maintenance inspections.

In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge, remove all the
power sources (battery, AC adapter) from the instrument, leave it fo
around 1 minute, turn on the power again and check the operation
again to confirm if there is a fault.

IMPORTANT
】

Install the electrode and the dummy cap to the sensor module
appropriately. Incorrect installation might causes water leak.
