(1) Meaning of symbols
The meanings of signal terms and symbol types related to warnings in this instruction manual are as
follows: Symbol alert marks on labels on the product etc. (
: Pictorial symbols for general warnings),
not only alert to the possibility of injury or damage, but should also be read as “Please refer to the
instruction manual.”
: Indicates the degree of possible harm for cases where incorrec
handling of the product may result in death or serious injury.
The term serious injury refers to loss of sight, burns (high temperature,
low temperature), electric shock, broken bones, poisoning etc.,
ongoing after-effects, hospitalization for medical treatment or the
requirement for long term outpatient status.
: Indicates the degree of possible harm or damage for cases where
incorrect handling of the product may result in injury or material
damage.
The term injury refers to injuries, burns, electric shock where
hospitalization for medical treatment or long term outpatient status is
not necessary. The term material damage refers to widespread damage
relating to house, household goods, livestock, pets, equipment o
equipment parts (damage occurring other than that to the produc
itself).
【IMPORTANT】 : Indicates important matters relating to other issues. Such matters
include prevention of damage to the body of the product, preventio
of wasted time, the maintenance of performance, compliance wit
laws and regulations etc.
