(f) If the interval memory is enabled (lit or blinking on the screen ), it is not possible to
perform calibration. Disable it. >> “7.3 (2) Changing the interval method and time”

(g) Prior to calibration, check if maintenance inspection is routinely carried out. If not, carry it out
before calibration. >> 9. Maintenance and inspections
【
IMPORTANT
】
•
If maintenance inspections such as “Taking care of the electrode”
have not been performed, proper calibration may not be performed.
(2) pH Calibration Procedure
The basic two-point calibration procedure using furnished pH 6.86 and pH 4.01 standard solutions
will be stated here, followed by one-point calibration and three-point calibration procedures.
① Standard solution into calibration beaker …… Pour the following pH standard
solutions to the (two) accessory calibration beakers up to the line “H” level. Previously clean
the calibration beaker used for the first-point calibration, then pour the pH standard solution for
the third-point calibration to the cleaned beaker.
• For two-point calibration …… pH 6.86 and pH 4.01 (or pH 9.18) standard solutions
• For one-point calibration …… pH 6.86 standard solution
• For three-point calibration …… pH 6.86, pH 4.01 and pH 9.18 standard solutions
【
IMPORTANT
】
•
For the two-point pH calibration, always use the pH 6.86 standard
solution as one of the two pH standard solutions.
• When using a pH 10.02 standard solution or other standard solution of US standard, refer to
“6.1 (5) Change of pH Standard Solution”.
