6.1.9 Bold Ratio
A bold ratio of 1 is equivalent to standard print, e.g. one vertical line of drops per vertical in a 7 HI raster or
two vertical lines of drops per vertical in a 16 HI raster. Simply enter the ratio required.
NOTE: If large, dense print is required, a bold ratio of 9 and a print height of +30% may produce the
required density.
To change this option on an existing pattern printing must be stopped, the ratio changed and the
pattern edited.
6.1.10 Aux In
Off Not available.
Resets SN Will reset the Sequential Number once got a triggered signal
INV MSG LV Change the print direction, the direction depends on the level signal.
INV MSG TR Change the print direction, the direction change depends on every trigger.
Meter Count Reset The meter field in the current printing message plays a reset function. When the
auxiliary photocell receives a trigger signal, the current value of the meter field
will reset and the meter buffer is cleared.
6.1.11 Photocell
Printing must be stopped to change this option. Select the required setting by using the left or rightarrow
keys. This can be set to any of the following values:
Triggered One trigger equals one print.
Enabled The printer will print continuously as long as the photocell remains triggered.
Remote Start printing when receiving the signal from the RS-232 port.
Off Printer ignores the photocell signal and will print continuously at a rate dictated by the
Print Width and Print Delay settings.
6.1.12 Shaft Encoder
The print must be stopped to change this option. Select ”On” if a shaft encoder is to be used, or “Off” if it
is not.
(See “Appendix 1: Installation and Setting Up” for shaft encoder setup).
6.1.13 Repeated Trigger
The printer must be stopped to change this option, and the Photocell must be set in Triggered Mode.
Then put in the Triggered Number. The default triggered number is 1, in other words, it will print 1 time
for every trigger. If the triggered number is 2, it will print twice for every trigger, and so on.
6.1.14 Alarm Set Up
Before changing this setting, the printer must be in a state where the JET has stopped. The machine has
three built-in alarm output ports. The user can make settings according to actual needs. When the alarm
is turned off, the external alarm is invalid.
The trigger mode of alarm output has the following two ways:
Pulsed The external alarm is operating normally, that is, when a warning occurs, the alarm
