7.14 Real-Time Switch or Edit Message
EC-JET provides a flexible function of switching message even if the printing is working or editing
message. the steps are as follows:
7.14.1 Real-time Switch Message
1. Change the “REAL-TIME SWITCH MESSAGE” menu in the “DIAGNOSIS” menu and select “ON”.
2. Return to the main menu.
3. Under the printing condition, the first line of the display is the printing message, choose the
message need to print (now the first line of the display is the current message), press key to make
printing switch.
7.14.2 Real-time Edit Message
1. Change the “REAL-TIME SWITCH MESSAGE” menu in the “DIAGNOSIS” menu and select “ON”.
2. Return to the main menu.
3. Under the printing condition, the first line of the display is the message under printing, choose the
message need to edit (now the first line of the display is the current message).
4. Press key to make edit the message.
5. Press key to switch the edited message to the printing message.
6. Return to the previous menu by pressing key, and now the first line of the display is current
message.
7.14.3 Real-time New Message
1. Change the REAL-TIME SWITCH MESSAGE menu in the DIAGNOSIS menu and select ON.
2. Return to the main menu.
3. Under the printing condition, the first line of the display is the message under printing, locate the
message to delete or add a new message。
4. Press key to edit the message, now the first line of the display is Edit Message.
5. Press key to switch the new message to the printing message. Return to the previous menu
by pressing key, and now the first line of the display is current message.
Note: The setting data of the new message should as the same of the previous setting of the printing
message. In other words, when the printer is printing and the Real-time Switch Message is ON,
the new message setting should be the actual setting of the message that is printing. And
other new messages should be set default.
