9-1 Replacingthrottlecontrolparts
{Disassembling}
1. Remove air cleaner cover, air lter and carbure-
tor from the unit.
2. Remove ignition switch from rear handle lid (A).
3. Remove bolt (B) and then remove throttle con-
trol parts.
4. Check throttle control parts and replace defec-
tive part(s) with new one as required.
{Assembling}
5. Insert torsion spring (D) to throttle rockout (E).
6. Assemble torsion spring (D) with throttle rockout
(E) on rear handle lid (A) as shown.
7. Assemble throttle trigger (F) on rear handle lid
(A), hooking end (d) of torsion spring (D) on the
trigger as shown.
8. Insert throttle rod (G) to hole (f) of throttle trigger
(F).
9. Assemble throttle control parts on rear handle
(H), inserting boss (a) of rear handle lid (A) to hole
(h) of rear handle (H) as shown.
10. Assemble removed parts.
