4.4 Installation space and ventilation
To maintain the permissible operating temperature, adequate distances from adjacent components
must be kept. Dimensions can be found in the Chapter entitled "Technical Data / Dimension
Drawings".
Plan additional space for:
- Ventilation:
The econ sens3 Multifunctional Measuring Instrument corresponds, with its 22.5 mm installation
depth to 1.3 subunits. Maintain a distance of 6 mm from neighboring devices on both sides of the
instrument. Consequently, the instrument occupies exactly 2 subunits at 17.5 mm each.
- Wiring
- Plug connectors, incl. cable feed (e.g. RJ45 Ethernet) on the top side of the instrument
- Plug connectors, incl. cable feed (e.g. RJ12 coil connection) on the bottom side of the
instrument
Attention!
Damage from moisture
Moisture or dampness can impair the functioning capability of the components.
Do not operate the components in very humid or wet environments. Comply with the specified
ambient conditions of the instrument. These are found under Technical Data in Chapter 11.
Caution!
Ensure ventilation
Without adequate ventilation, the components can become damaged. Ensure that a minimum
distance is kept from adjacent devices. Comply with the specified ambient conditions of the
instrument. These are found under Technical Data in Chapter 11.
