1. Time setting over NTP time server
If the econ sens3 is located in a network with available time server with NTP protocol, the instrument
can take over the time and date from this server. To do this, activate the selection field Assume time
and date from time server.
You can define up to four NTP time servers. To do this, enter the IP address or the name of the
respective server in the fields NTP Time Server 1 to 4; e.g. ptbtime1.ptb.de or 192.53.103.108.
When you click on Accept econ sens3 checks first the connection to the specified server. In case of
multiple servers, the instrument automatically selects the one with the shortest response time.
2. Setting the time manually:
If no NTP time server is available, the time settings of the instrument can also be made manually.
Activate the selection Date and time = Set time manually. When you click on Accept the system time
and date of the econ sens3 is compared to the values from the field Set time manually. Copy into this
field for example the time setting of your PC displayed below.
