The requirements for event recording are described below:
Frequency fluctuations
The average network frequency is checked every 10 seconds for deviations greater than +/-1% of the
nominal frequency. The default values are: lower limit 99% / upper limit 101%.
Slow voltage changes
The average supply voltage is checked every 10 minutes for deviations greater than +/-10% from the
nominal supply voltage. The default values are: lower limit 90% / upper limit 110%.
Fast voltage changes
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for sudden voltage changes of more than 5% of the
nominal measuring voltage. The default value is 5%
Flicker sharpness level
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked. The method for calculating flicker is an
approximation of the standard method. The default value is the limit value x10.
Voltage dip
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for voltages below 90% of the nominal voltage and
under 1 minute duration. A waveform for this event is saved. The default value is 90%.
Voltage interruption
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for voltages below 10% of the nominal voltage and
under 3 minutes duration. A waveform for this event is saved. The default value is 10%.
Short overvoltages
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for overvoltages above 110% of the nominal
voltage and under 3 minutes duration. A waveform for this event is saved. The default value is 110%.
Transient overvoltages
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for overvoltages above 150% of the nominal
voltage and under 1 minute duration. A waveform for this event is saved. The default value is 150%.
Voltage asymmetries
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for asymmetries above 2%. A waveform for this
event is saved. The default value is 2%.
Harmonic voltage
The measuring voltages of the 3 phases are checked for total harmonic distortions of voltage over 8%.
Harmonics up to the 15th are detected. A waveform for this event is saved. The default value is 8%.
