1 Generator
Select the Slow DOW test and the CDN-DOW-DATA-LF as coupling device with the desired cou-
pling type.
A missing coupling device in the parameter list can be added in the generator main menu.
2 CDN-DOW-DATA-LF
Connect the CDN with three 0.5 m MC-cables to the generator. Two twisted cables for High and
Low should be connected to the Slow DOW direct output; the third cable should be connected to
the PE CDN output.
3 Coupling selection
Every dataline can be connected to High or Low with a MC-Bridge. With an additional Bridge
(3a), Low can be connected with PE. Not all bridges are used for every coupling. Unused Bridges
can be stored in the parking position on the side.
Common Mode 1
Coupling of a single line to High, all other lines to Low. Low is not connected to PE.
Common Mode 2
Coupling of single line to High, all other lines to Low. Low is connected to PE.
Differential Mode
Coupling of a single line to High and another single line to Low. Low is not connected to PE.
