1 Generator
The calibration is carried out at the direct output of the generator. For a system calibration
including the internal mains CDN or an external data line CDN, the calibration is carried out at
the output of the CDN. For the calibration, an open and a short circuit measurement is required.
2 Measurement Equipment
For calibration, an open and a short circuit measurement is required.
• For open circuit voltage measurement, a HV-Differential probe must be used. A suitable one
is the V-PROBE-SI, available at EMC PARTNER.
• For short circuit current measurement, a current probe with enough bandwidth must be used.
A suitable one is the I-PROBE-CS-P8585C, available at EMC PARTNER. The short circuit
must be as short as possible.
3 Oscilloscope
The oscilloscope must have a minimum bandwidth of 40 MHz.
