1 Generator
The calibration is carried out at the direct output of the generator. For a system calibration
including the internal mains CDN, the calibration is carried out at the output of the CDN. For
the calibration, an open and a short circuit measurement is required. All equipment including
generator and osciloscope must be placed on a ground reference plane. The generator earth bar
on the frontpanel must be connected with the ground reference plane.
2 Measurement Equipment
For calibration, an open and a short circuit measurement is required.
• For open circuit voltage measurement, the VERI1K-EFT must be used.
• For short circuit current measurement, the VERI01 OSI must be used.
3 Oscilloscope
The oscilloscope must have a minimum bandwidth of 400 MHz.
VERI1K-EFT and VERI01 OSI can be connected directly to the direct output of the generator.
For measurements at the output of the internal CDN, the calibration adapter (part of the
standard accessories) must be used.
