4.5 Hazardous areas
When the Rosemount 5300 Level Transmitter is installed in a hazardous area, local
regulations and specifications in applicable certificates must be observed.

4.6.1 Power requirements
Terminals in the transmitter housing provide connections for signal cables. The
Rosemount 5300 Level Transmitter is loop-powered and operates with the following
power supplies:
