Kavitätenpräparation
Vermeiden Sie den Gebrauch der großen
Absaugung (HVE), um eine ausreichende Kühlung
von Zahn und Instrumentenspitze sicherzustellen.
Wenn eine zu niedrige Durchussrate eingestellt ist,
erhitzt sich die Instrumentenspitze sehr rasch.
Vor der Verwendung der Piezon-Instrumente
müssen die Kavitäten präpariert werden. Vorbe-
stehende Restaurationen müssen vollständig
entfernt werden. Für das Entfernen von defekter
Zahnhartsubstanz und kariösen Läsionen kann ein
herkömmlicher Exkavator verwendet werden.

RESTAURATION
Préparation de cavités
Eviter l’utilisation de la grosse canule d’aspi-
ration (HVE) afin d’assurer un refroidissement
sufsant de la dent et de l’instrument. L’instrument
s’échauffe rapidement quand le débit d’irrigation
est insufsant.
Les cavités doivent être préparées avant d’utiliser
les instruments Piezon. Les anciennes restau-
rations doivent être complètement enlevées.
Utiliser un excavateur standard pour l’excavation
des caries.

Instruments partiellement diamantés pour la
préparation de cavités distales et mesiales sans
endommagement de la dent adjacente.
Instrument SB
Instrument diamanté pour l’ouverture de petits
défauts et de petites caries.

RESTORATIVE
Cavity preparation
Avoid using the HVE (high volume evacu-
ation) to ensure sufcient cooling of the tooth and
the instrument. The instrument heats up quickly if
the irrigation ow rate is insufcient.
The cavities must be prepared before using the
Piezon instruments. Previous restorations must be
completely removed. Use a standard excavator for
the excavation of tooth decay cavities or caries.

distal and mesial cavities without damaging the
adjacent tooth.
Instrument SB
Diamond-coated instrument for opening pits and
small caries.
Instruments SBd and SBm
Partially diamond-coated instruments for beveling

Diamond-coated instrument for preparing the tooth
for placement of veneers.
