Devices with a single compartment housing, 316L hygiene, and conduit gland must be
connected as end-of-line devices. Only one conduit entry must be used.
Housing thread
The threads of the electronics and connection compartment can be coated with an
anti-friction coating.
The following applies for all housing materials:
Do not lubricate the housing threads.
6.2.1 Supply voltage

The APL field switch must be tested to ensure it meets safety requirements (e.g.,
PELV, SELV, Class 2) and must comply with the relevant protocol specifications.
