5.2 The function matrix: layout and use

The function matrix consists of two levels:
• Function groups
The function groups are the highest-level grouping of the control options for the measuring
device. A number of functions is assigned to each function group.
•Functions
You select a function group in order to access the individual functions for operating and
configuring the measuring device.
Operate the function matrix as follows:
1. HOME position: press the
F
key enter the function matrix
2. Select a function group (e.g. CURRENT OUTPUT).
3. Select a function (e.g. TIME CONSTANT)
Change parameter/enter numerical values:
O
/
S
keys select or enter enable code, parameters, numerical values
F
key save your entries
4. Exit the function matrix:
–Press the
P
keys (Esc) longer than 3 seconds HOME position
– Repeatedly press the
P
keys (Esc) return step by step to the HOME position
