1. Remove the Upper Front Cover. (p.177)
2. Remove the Top Cover. (p.177)
3. Remove the Rear Cover. (p.178)
4. Remove the Right Door. (p.180)
5. Remove the Front Cover. (p.179)
6. Remove the Laser Lens Cover. (1 screw)

7. Remove the two screws securing the Drum Unit Slide Cover and remove it from the
fixed position. Then turn over the cover and disconnect the three sets of harness from
the terminals on the back, and take out the cover. (See
“Figure 4-50 (p.198)”)

C A U T I O N
Do not touch the terminals (copper) on the back of the Drum Unit
Slide Cover with your bare hand. (To avoid loss of continuity caused
by corrosion)
