2.4.2.2 Charging Process
Charging is carried out by the needle electrode scorotron charger.
The OPC drum is charged evenly by the corona discharge from the charger via the Grid
Mesh.
Ozone generation is suppressed thanks to corona discharge concentration on the side of grid
mesh by use of the needle electrode type charger.
