Function 822: DSP IP Address settings
Notes: For each IP address in the following steps, enter the address in a dotted-decimal format consisting of four
up-to-three-digit numbers, 0 through 255, separated by dots. Use # to enter the dots between numbers.
1. Using the scroll keys ( and ), select the IP/ASC Carrier Card to program. Press # to continue.

2. You’ll now see the IP address of the Media DSP. Enter a new IP address or press # to confirm.
Default: Based upon Function 821 (see page L.3).

3. Enter the base UDP port number for the Media DSP. Press # to continue.
Default: 59111

4. Enter the base UDP port number for the G.729 Codec DSP. Press # to continue.
Default: 59112.

5. Enter the starting number of the RTP port range to be used, or press # to confirm.
Default: 10000.

BEGIN: 10000
Note: The first two digits of the RTP range are defined in step 3 of Function 823 (see page L.7), and the
system needs to have a range of 352 RTP ports.
6. Enter the ending number of the RTP port range to be used, or press # to confirm.
Default: 10351.

7. Press 1 to save your changes and restart the IP/ASC Carrier Card or press 2 to exit without restarting
