Function 87: Universal IP resource programming
1. Use the scroll keys to select an active IP/ASC Carrier Card to program. Press # to continue.
Choice: (IP/ASC Carrier Card) 1.

Note: The IP/ASC Carrier Card can support up to 127 IP resources; therefore, the system-wide sum of the
four available IP resource types can total no more than 127.
2. The IP resources are allocated as displayed:
EIP:016 SIPS:000
SIPT:000 EL:000
To change the number of ESI IP stations (EIP), press 1. This will take you to Function 871.
To change the number of SIP stations (SIPS), press 2. This will take you to Function 872.
To change the number of SIP trunks (SIPT), press 3. This will take you to Function 873.
To change the number of Esi-Link trunks (EL), press 4. This will take you to Function 874.
Or, to confirm these settings without making any changes, press #.
Important: The sum of all four available IP resource types cannot exceed 127 for the IP/ASC Carrier Card.
Function 871: ESI IP station allocation
1. Enter the total number of local and/or remote ESI IP phones you wish to allocate.

2. Press # to confirm.
Important: The sum of all four available IP resource types cannot exceed 127 for the IP/ASC Carrier Card. Also, as
this number is increased, the system will automatically create the extensions, which will appear in Function
31 (page F.2) to be programmed.
Function 872: SIP station allocation
1. Enter the total number of SIP stations you wish to allocate.
