6.1 Undertaking a test run

u Set the cutting band speed control 15 to minimum speed (counter-
clockwise stop).
u Switch on the main switch 22.
u The cutting band must be fitted properly and both doors closed.
u Press the acknowledge button 21.
The EXAKT 312 is ready for operation.
u Press the start button 16 and increase the cutting band speed to
approx. 30%.
Leave the EXAKT 312 to run for around half a minute so that the cutting
band can centre itself.
6.2 Ending a test run
u Press the stop button 17.
