3.1 General description of the machine

The SHREDDERS, models ZMT and ZMTE, available in 3 versions with dierent characteristics of power, weight and
dimensions, have been designed, built and protected for use exclusively in the agricultural and road upkeeping sectors
for cutting grass, reeds, bushes and bushes with a diameter of up to approximately 6 cm (2.36 in.).
In the design and construction, all the necessary measures were taken to produce a high-quality, reliable product,
fully complying with the regulations in force and with particular regard to accident prevention.
The machines to which this manual refers are carried by the tractor by means of a three-point connection and they
act on the ground depending on their own weight and on the rotation of the ail rotor activated by the power takeo.
These machines are composed of a structure in which the working part is formed by a rotor with a horizontal axis.
Shaped ails which rotate at a faster speed than the advance speed are connected to this rotor.
The machines have a system for adjusting the working height, obtained by means of lateral runners and a rear roller.
The machine is not indicated for use in sectors other than agriculture and road upkeeping.
The machine must be used by only one operator.
Any use other than that specied is considered unauthorised and dangerous (improper
use).
