5.3 Adjustingthebelttension
This operation must be carried out with the shredding ail head resting on the ground, with the ail head rotation control
disconnected, the hand brake on, the self-propelled machine o󰀨 and the ignition key removed.
For ZMT:
► Remove the protective casing from the belts (1).
► Loosen the 4 blocking screws of the gearbox (2).
► Adjust the stabiliser (3) to obtain a belt tension such as, with a pressure of 100 N (measured with a dynanometer
positioned in the middle of the upper belt), a maximum bend of 15 mm is obtained.
► Once the operation is nished block the 4 fastening screws of the gearbox (2) and t the belt protective casing (1).
