15.2 Spot Size Calculator
It is important that the sensor is mounted at a distance from the target, sufficient to be able to “see” the entire area
of interest. For this reason, the manufacturer provides a field of view calculating software called “Spot Size
Calculator”, which allows the calculation of the resulting spot size for a given sensor model and based on a specific
mounting distance.
