ping
Use this command to perform an ICMP ECHO request (also called a ping) to a host by
specifying its fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or IP address, using the options configured by
“ping-option” on page 128.
Pings are often used to test connectivity.
Syntax
execute ping {<fqdn_str> | <host_ipv4>}
Variable Description Default
ping {<fqdn_str> | <host_ipv4>} Enter either the IP address or fully qualified
domain name (FQDN) of the host.
