Evolution software update using the Flash-Rom
Manual to up- & download the Evolution Software without Service Tool 2.
Warning!
• Electric shock if live parts are touched.
• Adhere strictly to the instructions in the manual.
• Pay attention and work carefully.

1.) Machine (CPU) → Flash-Rom
a) Turn off the Evolution
b) Remove the left side panel
c) Switch on the Evolution and insert the Install-card
d) Select in Menu 1 Set-up the parameter 34 machine>>flash and press the Clean-button
e) Insert the Flash-Rom and press the Clean-Button
f) The display shows the software version X extern (Software-Flash) & I intern (Software-CPU);
check it and press the Clean-button
g) Display shows: writing to module / …please wait…
h) Display shows afterwards: Done, pull Module! / Exit or Enter (new)
i) Remove the Evolution Flash-Rom
j) If requested, upload a second Flash Rom (follow step e).
k) Mount the left side panel
l) Pull out the Install card
2.) Flash-Rom → Machine (CPU)
a) Disconnect the machine from the power supply
b) Remove the left side panel
c) Insert the Flash-Rom
d) Connect the power supply
m) The display shows the software version X extern (Software-Flash) & I intern (Software-CPU);
check it and press the Clean-button
e) The message module>>machine appears; press the Clean-button
f) The machine uploads the Software from the Flash-Rom to the CPU
g) The display shows the software version X extern & I intern
h) Check the software version
i) Disconnect the machine from the power supply
j) Mount the left side panel
k) Connect the power supply
