3 Setting up and connecting
Be sure to comply with national regulations and the overall weight of the cup warmer when in operation
(fully equipped).
Guidelines for setting up and connecting
Do not set up in rooms where water hoses or high-pressure cleaners are used!
Do not set up near sources of heat (heat distortion of appliance panelling). Observe adequate
safety distances.
Horizontal: compensate for minor unevenness with the screw feet.
Air circulation: the distance of the Franke cup warmer to the wall must be at least 40 mm.
Do not close ventilation slits.
Electrical connection should be performed by a qualified electrician:
o in compliance with the applicable VDE 0100 regulations and
o in compliance with the regulations of the responsible power supply companies.
Refer to the type plate for the electrical connection (see section 2, page 3 for the location of the
type plate).
The movable mains supply line must be rubber hose design H 05 RN-F (227 IEC 53) minimum.
Include the appliance in the potential equalization system.
The mains plug must be easily accessible.
Insert the mains plug into a properly installed protective contact socket (230 Volt).
