3 Setting up and connecting
Be sure to comply with national regulations and the overall weight of the cup warmer when in operation
(fully equipped).
Guidelines for setting up and connecting
• Do not set up in rooms where water hoses or high-pressure cleaners are used!
• Do not set up near sources of heat (heat distortion of appliance panelling). Observe adequate
safety distances.
• Horizontal: compensate for minor unevenness with the screw feet.
• Air circulation: the distance of the Franke cup warmer to the wall must be at least 40 mm.
• Do not close ventilation slits.
• Electrical connection should be performed by a qualified electrician:
o in compliance with the applicable VDE 0100 regulations and
o in compliance with the regulations of the responsible power supply companies.
• Refer to the type plate for the electrical connection (see section 2, page 3 for the location of the
type plate).
• The movable mains supply line must be rubber hose design H 05 RN-F (227 IEC 53) minimum.
• Include the appliance in the potential equalization system.
• The mains plug must be easily accessible.
• Insert the mains plug into a properly installed protective contact socket (230 Volt).
