Optional Components
The following table shows the optional components available. To purchase these
options, contact our Customer Support Center.
Product Name Description
Duplex Automatic
Document Feeder (DADF)
Feeds multiple sheets of paper to the machine one by one.
Wing table A kit to load related products such as IC Card Reader, or to
secure work space. The table can be placed on left side of the
document cover.
Exit2 Tray Allows you to use the center output tray as two separate trays.
Note • You cannot attach this tray where a finisher has been
installed.
Side Tray Delivers output face up.
Finisher-A1 Staples output sheets.
Finisher-B1 Staples output sheets.
Envelope Tray Allows you to load envelopes. Tray 1 is replaced with the
Envelope Tray instead of being used as the standard paper
tray.
Two Tray Module Consists of two trays – Tray 3 and Tray 4. You can load 500
sheets on each tray (when using 80 gsm paper). Replacable
with Tandem Tray Module or Stand.
Tandem Tray Module Consists of two compartments (Tray 3 and 4) which allow you
to load 2000 sheets in total. Replacable with Two Tray Module
or Stand.
HCF A separate tray module which allows you to load high volume
of sheets (2000 sheets) in one compartment. HCF stands for
High Capacity Feeder.
Stand Removable stand on which the machine (main unit, Tray 1,
and Tray 2) is installed. Replacable with Two Tray Module or
Tandem Tray Module.
Booklet Maker Unit for
Finisher-B1
Staples output sheets. Also creases output sheets in half or
staples them.
US 2/3 Hole Punch Kit for
Finisher-B1
2/3 hole-punches output sheets.
The distance between the two holes made with the US 2/3
Hole Punch Kit (US standard) is 70 mm, which is different from
the 80 mm distance made with the 2/4 Hole Punch Kit.

Finisher-B1
2/4 hole-punches output sheets.
Printer Kit Adds the Print feature to the machine.
Adobe PostScript 3 Kit Allows you to use the machine as a PostScript printer. Also
enables printing from Macintosh.
In case of printing in high resolution mode when Adobe
PostScript 3 Kit is installed, it is recommended to install the
Extension System Memory (2 GB) to the machine.
