6.6 Transmission Test Execution
For SNMP Trap notifications or e-mail notifications, perform a transmission test to make sure that event noti-
fications are sent normally.
6.6.1 SNMP Trap Test
Perform the SNMP Trap test to check that the SNMP Trap can be sent from the ETERNUS AF to the SNMP Man-
ager.
The procedure to send trap test and to check the result is as follows:
1 Perform the test transmission of the SNMP Trap.
(1) On the navigation of the ETERNUS Web GUI screen, click [System].
The [System] screen appears.
(2) In [Category], click [Network].
The [Network] screen appears.
(3) In [Action], click [Send SNMP Trap].
The [Send SNMP Trap Test] screen appears.
(4) In the [Send SNMP Trap Test] screen, click the [Send] button.
A confirmation screen appears.
(5) Click the [OK] button.
The test transmission of the SNMP Trap is performed.
