4 Preparation
V CAUTION!
Follow the safety instructions in the chapter “Safety instructions” on
page 15 et seq..
4.1 Floorstand model
4.1.1 Opening the server
Ê Exit all applications and shut down the server properly.
Ê Press the On/Off button if the server has not been switched off by the
operating system.
Ê Pull all power connectors out of the power outlets.
Ê If required, remove the lock on the side cover.

Ê Unlock the server (1).
Ê Loosen the two knurled screws at the rear side (2).
Ê Push back the left-hand side cover approxiate 2 cm (3).
Ê Remove the left-hand side cover (4).
