7 ServerView Local Service Panel
V CAUTION!
Follow the safety instructions in the chapter “Safety instructions” on
page 15 et seq..
It is possible to install a ServerView Local Service Panel (LSP) in the bay at the
top of the hard disks extension box for 3.5“ hard disks or in the lower bay of the
multibay.
7.1 Installing a LSP
Installing in a hard disks extension box
Ê Open the server as described in the chapter “Preparation” on page 21 et
seq..
Ê Disconnect all cables at the rear side of the hard disks extension box. Notice
the cabling.
Ê Press inward on the two metal tongues of the EasyClick rails until the locking
mechanism disengages.
Ê Remove the hard disks extension box from the bay.
