Expanding/replacing the main memory Main memory
The following table shows the prescribed equipping order:
I In case of dual channel configuration with four memory modules: all four
memory slots must be equipped with identical memory modules.
5.2 Expanding/replacing the main memory
Ê Open the server as described in the chapter “Preparation” on page 21 et
seq..

Ê Fold the assembly brackets outwards on both sides of the corresponding slot
(1).
Ê If the slot was equipped: pull the memory module out of the slot (2).

The dual-channel mode is only activated, if the size of the used memory modules in socket
DIMM 2A is equal to the summary of memory modules in sockets DIMM 1A and DIMM 1B
