5. On the top surface of the glass: Measure 2.25” from the front edge of the glass and make a
mark on the glass with a sharpie or similar.

6. Cut a fresh piece of tape about 3.5”-3.6” long. Handle the tape carefully so that it does not
crease.
7. Apply the tap to the top surface of the glass slightly past your part. Use your fingers and apply
the tape starting at one edge and working across to avoid forming bubbles or wrinkles under the
tape.

8. Flip the glass over and apply the bottom side (should be shorter than the top side).

9. Reinstall the glass bed.
12.12 Lubrication
The only parts that require periodic lubrication on your F410 are:
The three Z axis leadscrews
The two Z axis guide rods
All other moving components utilize sealed cartridge ball bearings and rolling contact, and should NOT
be lubricated by the user!
12.12.1 Lubricant to use:
Use only a plain white lithium grease to lubricate these components. Here at Fusion3 we use this Lucas
Oil product.
