Parameter Sources
The Src column indicates the entity that last set the parameter. The following table defines the
entities that may be listed.
PME
The parameter was set via the hardware configuration from Proficy Machine Edition.
DCP
The parameter was set through DCP, a protocol typically used by Proficy Machine
Edition, PROFINET Controllers, third-party controllers and third-party programmers to
set parameters such as Device Name and IP Address).
CMD
The parameter was set through the Command Line Interface.
DEF
The parameter has not been set and is the default value.
NA
The parameter does not apply in the current configuration
Redundant Media Roles
The Role parameter shown as part of the Redundant Media configuration defines the current
function of the module on the Media Redundancy Ring. Possible values for this parameter are:
Disabled
Media Redundancy is currently disabled.
Client
Module is operating as a Media Redundancy Client (MRC).
Manager
Module is operating as a Media Redundancy Manager (MRM).
