Never connect or disconnect the motor from the inverter while the inverter is outputting voltage.

■ UL Standards
The UL/cUL mark applies to products in the United States and Canada and it means that UL has performed
product testing and evaluation and determined that their stringent standards for product safety have been met.
For a product to receive UL certication, all components inside that product must also receive UL certication.
■ UL Standards Compliance
This inverter is tested in accordance with UL standard UL508C and complies with UL requirements. To ensure
continued compliance when using this inverter in combination with other equipment, meet the following condi-
tions:
■ Installation Area
Do not install the inverter to an area greater than pollution severity 2 (UL standard).
■ Main Circuit Terminal Wiring
UL approval requires crimp terminals when wiring the inverter’s main circuit terminals. Use crimping tools as
specied by the crimp terminal manufacturer.
Gefran recommends crimp terminals made by “Nichifu” for the
insulation cap.
