7.2 Specifying the OFFSET FORCE
Because the direction which the cutter blades tip is facing cannot be confirmed during the cutting
plotters initialization routine, initial blade control is required to properly orient the blades tip. This
function specifies the cutting force to be applied during initial blade control. Particularly when cutting
thick film, the OFFSET FORCE setting is used to control the rotation of the blades tip during initial
blade control. The OFFSET FORCE need not be specified for film of regular thickness.
Step 1

key to enter PAUSE mode.

register your setting.
The OFFSET FORCE can be set in a range of 1 to 31 for the CE2000-60, and 1 to 39 for the CE2000-
120.

PAUSE
key to cancel the PAUSE mode.
NOTE : The OFFSET FORCE setting is retained in the cutting plotters internal memory, even
while the cutting plotter is turned off.
