Information for users who do not use catman Easy/AP
1. Connect the system as described in chapter 7.
2. Start the Setup.Exe file
- The driver for the CANHEADdirect interface is installed automatically.
- The PCAN network is automatically configured.
- The PCAN programs are automatically installed.
- The SystemCheck program is automatically installed.
3. Manually install the driver for the CANHEADdirect interface from the system
CD. Proceed as described in chapter 11.1 and enter the path of the system
CD (setup.exe).
4. Check the system function with the SystemCheck program (see Chapter
11.3).
5. The sample program CANHEADdirect “SystemCheck” is automatically in
stalled when setup.exe is started and can be found in the CANHEADdirect
program directory.
6. Integrate CANHEADdirect via API (DLL) or ActiveX API in the system.
7. The documentation for API or ActiveX API is on the system CD (with an
example for integration, API sub-directory).
