Two-motor configuration
Here you must set whether the system is operated with one or two motors.
If the system is equipped with only one motor, select "Single Motor" under
"Primary or Secondary Operation".
With two motors, one control unit is configured as primary and the other as
secondary.
In a primary-secondary system, the control unit with the interface connection must
always be the primary control unit (see wiring diagram).
The following settings must be made in both the Primary and Secondary
control units and must be identical:
− Wheel circumference
Speed limit
The speed limit is switched on with the selection field "Limits activated". In
addition, a value must be entered under "Torque/speed sensor". From this value
on, the support by the motor stops during operation.
According to the DIN EN 15194 standard, the values for the limitations are:
− Torque/speed sensor: max.25 km/h
− Starting aid: max.6 km/h
− Reversing: max.6 km/h
If a value above this limit is entered, the control unit automatically goes into error
mode.
