Error/event display 5.4.3
Information about some error messages and special events for the control system
and/or the gate is proactively displayed without the user having to first scroll
through the diagnosis menu or the sensor display.
How does the proactive display work?
Events are only shown on the display during operating mode display. During
sensor display or in the menu view, the event and error display is not active.
If several events are active at the same time, they are shown for 2 seconds
each, one after the other.
The messages displayed relate to the section “Parameter reference or error
numbers” (Section 8.2) of this document.
Examples of proactive display
Immediately after the control system is switched on, the message
“250 ProgramInit” is displayed for a short time to indicate that the control
system has started correctly.
If both of the control system’s hold-to-run pushbuttons are held down for
more than 2 seconds at the same time, the message “161 Immediate
Stop” is displayed.
If both limit switches (OPEN and CLOSE) are activated (not at +24 V level)
then “215 End Positions Undef.” appears in the display to indicate faulty
function or incorrect connection. This important error display is not
removed until the control system is restarted, or a functioning motor run
started.
If some particular inputs are activated for an extended time (longer than
normal), the reference is also displayed:
If, for example, the stop button is active for longer than 2 seconds,
“161 Immediate Stop” is displayed. The safety contact strips or the light
barrier are also displayed after an extended operation period.
